FACEBOOK launched an another safety maesurment that allow people affected to any disasters to inform their loved ones about their "safety status" i.e.
"SAFETY CHECK" the main use of this is it tracks the people information based on their status(check -in- update) in an area where people stuck by any natrual disaster.
Like recently in NEPAL and some other places earthquake occured.
Facebook helps the user to prompts the user to update their safety status and then it generates a news feed in your name to inform to your facebook friends whether your are safe or you need any help.
For those who still in Nepal this tool helps to get i touch with your loved ones.
